Dwarf-1

Korred appear similar to a dwarf, but his shaggy beard covers his entire torso.

A strange, almost-dwarf like creature stands before you, its long beard twisting and writhing with almost a life of its own. He holds a short stick and glares at you menacingly.

Korred is a 600-year old korred, who lives in a simple hut in the Great Cedar Forest. He is an ornery creature with a long, almost-prehensile beard and a tendency to beat visitors and students with a stick for any transgression or provocation. A trainer of warriors since before the Pathfinders' great-grandparents were born, Korred waits in the forest for students to come to him to learn the ways of honourable combat.

Korred can train students in the use of any melee weapon and some ranged weapons, primarily thrown items; his distaste for coward's weapons, such as guns and bows, is made clearly and loudly evident. He has emphasized the importance of a warrior having a quest and claims to have trained Prince Torbin, otherwise known as Prince Bytor.

Ruthea, Jura, Kat, Alejandra, Gorgoroth, Enrique, Dr. Haiduc, Halstein, and Arcade have all trained with Korred, and were presented with fine weapons upon the completion of their training. He seems to particularly approve of Gorgoroth's clear quest to kill his father, and Dr. Haiduc's hair.

Weapons Given by Korred[]

Korred appears to simply create strange and magical weapons as he needs them. The following weapons were presented to Pathfinders on completion of their training.

To Alejandra: +1 Merciful Grayflame Bola, "The Foolhardy Gray Giant"

To Gorgoroth: +1 Fullblade, "The Ignoble Steel Ogre"

To Ruthea: +1 Defending Flaming Katana, "The Ascendant Green Warrior"

To Jura: +1 Seeking Returning Boomerang, "The Meddling Crimson Wasp"

To Dr. Haiduc: +1 Spell-Storing Meteor Hammer

To Halstein: +1 Flaming Battle Ladder "The Hypnotic Copper Tiger"

Kat only partially completed the training, and so her weapon of choice, a blowgun, was not as fine as the weapons that he presented to the others: masterwork, not magical.
