The Secret Society of Willowdale, a town council currently made up of Ned, Sheriff Colquhoun, Martha and the Reverend Mother, has asked the Pathfinders to join and assist with some of Willowdale's more mysterious problems.

Mysterious Disapperances

According to records kept by the group, people have been going inexplicably missing at a regular rate all across the country for years. No one knows where they go or why, and no sufficient explaination can account for their whereabouts, as according to divination they do not die, but can not be located. The council wishes to have these disappearances finally explained.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers - Complete[]

Around the 17th of Leafall, one of the Bodeckkers' neighbours was seen acting oddly, up and about at strange hours of the night. When approached, he became violent. Help was called and he was eventually shot, revealing that he was in fact a doppelganger impersonator. The council was worried about what this might portend.

Through the events leading up to the Battle of Willowdale, it was revealed that a group of changeling assassins had indeed infiltrated the town. The imposters were summarily exposed, captured and tried for their involvement with the hobgoblin army.

From Baltic to Boardwalk - Complete[]

The mogul Jacob Plainsview was buying up land in the area and had already purchased the majority of Marten's Dam by the time the Pathfinders entered Willowdale. The council was worried as to what might happen to their fair town should Plainsview continue to buy up Willowdale property. Brief conversation with the man revealed his interest in not only the town, but the Great Cedar Forest and Witch Woods as well. An attempt was made to undermine his designs on the Great Cedar Forest by establishing the sovereign Firewalker Nation.

Investigations by Dr. Haiduc suggested that Plainsview was deeply involved with the drug trade, and further evidence was uncovered that linked him to counterfeit currency production, as well as to a plan to turn the Willowdale area and the surrounding fields into an open mine. The Pathfinders arrested Plainsview, who is now in custody of the Sheriff, and much of his estate has been looted, undermining both his social and fiscal power in the area. Dr. Haiduc has also instigated a campaign to discredit Plainsview in wider Laurasian society. He believes this will prevent Plainsview from drawing on old favours or blackmail victims in order to evade justice.

The Sleep of Reason[]

Ned is personally worried about a series of what some would call fairy tales, and would like further investigation to take place in regards to the Green Man, a mischievous spirit, and the Mothman, an omen of doom.
